Aurangabad, March 16:

A total of 1271 positive patients for Novel coronavirus were detected in the city and rural areas on Tuesday, while seven patients' deaths were reported.

A total of 384 patients, including 324 from city, were discharged today.

As many as 1011 patients were found in the city while 239 are from rural areas. With this, the number of total affected people from the pandemic virus in the district has gone up to 60,100.

Of them, 1351 lost their life while 6,676 are currently undergoing treatment. The number of patients recovered in the district is 52,073. A total of 21 patients were detected through the antigen test.

The name of some of the city and rural areas where patients were detected are as follows;

Garkheda (25), Satara Parisar (23), Beed Bypass (16), Osmanpura (13), Ulkanagri (nine), N-Cidco (10), N-11 (nine), N-3 Cidco (12), N-4 Cidco (13), N-8 (eight), Vedant Nagar (seven) Ghati Parishar (six), N-6 Cidco (10), Padampura (seven), Harsul (six), Bajaj Nagar (28), Kailasnagar (six).

A total of seven patients died today. The details of the seven died persons are as follows; a 55-year-old man from Waluj-Bajaj Nagar; a 95-year-old woman from Phulambri; an 81-year-old man from Khadkeshwar; a 61-year-old man from Jaitapur; a 72-year-old woman from Shikshak Colony-Sillod; a 68-year-old man from Shrikrishna Nagar Hudco and a 63-year-old man from Bhadkal Gate.
