Aurangabad, April 14:

A 15 years old boy was stabbed to death over the issue of money at Tekdi Tanda in Paithan tehsil on Tuesday (April 13) at around 10.30 pm. The parents of the deceased boy were also injured in the attack. A case has been registered at the Paithan MIDC police station. The police have arrested a suspect in this connection. The deceased has been identified as Sanket Dnyaneshwar Pawar.

Police said, Sanket had given some money to the suspect Vishnu Pawar (40). On April 13 evening, there was a dispute between Sanket’s family and Vishnu over the money. Both the parties then approached the Paithan MIDC police station and lodged counter complaints.

Later, Sanket, his father Dnyaneshwar (45), and mother Hira Pawar (37) were returning on two-wheeler at around 10.30 pm. Vishnu was waiting for them at a Dhaba on Karkin Road. When the motorcycle came there, Vishnu suddenly attacked Sanket with a knife. The attack was so severe that he sustained injuries in the stomach and died on the spot. His parents were also severely injured in the attack. Vishnu later fled away from the scene.

After receiving information, assistant police superintendent Gorakh Bhamre, API Archana Patil rushed to the spot. The deceased and the injured were rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The condition of Hira Pawar is said to be critical.

Vishnu Pawar, after the attack, fled away from the scene on his two-wheeler. The API, Archana Patil, and police team, including Sharad Pawar, Dinesh Dabhade, Raju Jawale and others based on the mobile location, chased the suspect and arrested him after just two hours of the incident.
