177 posts of doctors, nurses to be filled in GMCH; specialist to get Rs 1.25 L month salary

Aurangabad, April 11:

The administration of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) will carry out recruitment for 177 posts, including specialists and nurses, for a short period.

It may be noted the rise in COVID patients number day by day in the district is putting an additional burden on the GMCH staff.

Therefore, the GMCH decided to recruit specialists and nurses to reduce staff crunch.

The interview for the posts will be conducted between April 12 and 20. There are ten posts of specialist, each of the intensivists, anesthesiologist, general and chest physicians, and 100 posts of nurses will be filled through direct recruitment for three months.

A specialist will get Rs 1.25 lakh monthly salary. The specialists get higher pay in a private hospital than in government hospitals while working experience in a Government hospital is considered more important in his/her career. The new recruitment will reduce the burden specially on the existing nursing staff.
