Aurangabad, April 3:

Two more cheating complaints have been received against the fraudster Bank of Maharashtra alleged officer, who duped 13 persons of Rs 74.5 lakh on the lure of providing huge loans from the government schemes and job opportunities. In the new complaints, he duped two residents of around Rs 14 lakhs, the police said.

The fraudster bank officer Shailesh Baburao Kamble (Pannalalnagar) duped 13 persons, including complainant Adv Devkant Meshram of Rs 74.50 lakh. He lured them, stating that he will gain a loan of Rs 25 lakh from the government scheme with a 25 percent subsidy. He also cheated others on the lure of getting jobs in the bank through the management quota. A case has been registered against Kamble at the Cantonment police station. The police have launched a massive manhunt for him, but he has not been traced yet. He was living in a rented flat at Pannalalnagar. The police are now investigating whether he was working with the bank.

Meanwhile, two more complainants came forwards and lodged complaints against him. According to them, Kamble had taken Rs 14 lakh from them for getting jobs. Later, when they asked him about the jobs, he started ignoring them, stating various reasons. He also threatened them that they should not go to the police; otherwise, they will not get their money. PSI, P S Bhagile is further investigating the case.
