25 ventilators and 45 oxygen system for the district

Aurangabad, April 7:

District collector Sunil Chavan signed an MoU with Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha (JBGVS) Pune and Marathwada Medical and Research Institute (MMRI) Aurangabad for the supply of ventilators and oxygen system. Realizing the seriousness of Covid-19 in Aurangabad, the JBGVS and MMRI has provided medical equipment worth Rs2.13 crore to the district administration from the CSR funds. This includes 25 ventilators and 45 oxygen system. Collector Chavan, JBGVS chairman C P Tripathi and MMRI chief executive officer Dr Natasha Verma signed the MoU. The equipment will be used for government medical college, district civil hospital as well as rural hospitals.
