3 booked for cheating in talathi recruitment examination

Aurangabad, April 11:

The Harsul police have booked three persons for sending bogus candidates to appear for them in the for the talathi recruitment examination.

The accused have been identified as Samadhan Sitaram Bhotkar (27, Hatti, Sillod), Ambadas Vitthal Sable (28, Ganeshnagar, Cidco Mahanagar, Wadgaon Kolhati) and Khushalsingh Phulsingh Thakur (37, Sanjarpurwadi, Parsoda, Vaijapur).

PI, Sachin Ingole said, A private agency conducted an examination to recruit 84 posts of talathis in Ahmednagar Sub-divisional revenue circle. The advertisement for the examination was published on February, 28, 2019. The examination was held in the Harsul area at Dream Land English School between January 3 and 7, 2020. In this examination, Bhotkar, Sable and Thakur sent bogus candidates to appear for them.

At the examination centres, the photos on the hall tickets and applications were different. Hence, a case was registered at Ahmednagar Kotwali Police Station on the basis of the complaint lodged by tehsildar Madhuri Andhale. As these candidates gave the examination in the Harsul area, the case was transferred to the Harsul police station. PI, Sachin Ingole is further investigating the case.
