35 new Covid-19 patients detected in district; 29 discharged after recovery

Aurangabad, July 14:

The health administration has identified 35 new Covid-19 patients from different parts of the district today. They include 25 from the rural sector and 10 from Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) jurisdiction. Meanwhile, 29 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the district after recovery. Incidentally, two patients from the rural sector have died while undergoing the treatment.

Presently, there are 305 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in the district. They include 262 patients from the rural sector and 42 from AMC limits. So far, 1.46 lakh Covid-19 patients had been detected in the district, out of which, 1.43 lakh had been discharged, 3463 had passed away. Of the total 29 patients discharged from the hospitals, 17 were from AMC limits and 12 were from the rural sector.

Two died in the district

Of the two deaths, one-60-year-old woman was from Chittepimpalgaon and another 80-year-old woman was from Mhaski village (in Vaijapur tehsil).

10 patients in AMC limit

Ten patients have been identified from AMC limits. They include four from N-6, one from Garkheda, and five from different localities. While the 25 patients from the rural sector include eight from Paithan, nine from Vaijapur, four from Gangapur, two from Kannad, and one each from Sillod and Aurangabad tehsils.
