4 kidnappers arrested for relative of patient at GMCH

Aurangabad, June 10:

The police arrested four kidnappers for kidnapping a relative of a patient, being treated at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and recovering a ransom of Rs 10,000 on Thursday. The arrested have been identified as Sikandar Mukhim Pathan (35, Misarwadi), Ishwar Vitthal Disagaj (29, Misarwadi), Mukim Fakirchand Pathan (70, Misarwadi) and a minor boy. The police rescued the captive Krishna Raghunath Wagh (Bhokardan).

The sources said, Krishna had brought his ailing relative at the GMCH for treatment. He and his nephew were staying here for the past four days. On Thursday, three unidentified persons came to Krishna and kidnapped him. They later asked for ransom of Rs 20,000 to Krishna's nephew on phone and threaten him that they will kill Krishna if he did not pay the amount. Meanwhile, he sent Rs 10,000 on the account of the accused through phone pay. They also informed the Begumpura police about the kidnapping. After receiving the ransom amount, the accused were coming to leave Krishana at the GMCH. The police laid a trap and arrested the four kidnappers.

Under the guidance of Nikesh Khatmode Patil, ACP Vivek Saraf, the police team including PI Ashok Bhandare, constable Deva Suryawanshi, Syed Shakeel, Shaikh Hyder, Santosh Chavan, Sharad Najan, Deshraj More, Abhijeet Gaikwad, Santosh Sankpal, crime branch PSI Amol Deshmukh, Nandkumar Bhandare, Nitin Deshmukh, Dharmaraj Gaikwad and others executed the police action.
