4 suicide cases reported in district in 48 hours

Aurangabad, March 14:

A total of four cases of suicide were reported in different parts of the district during the last 48 hours. According to details, a 66-year-old man Annasaheb Kachru Mandalkar was found hanging to a ceiling fan at his house at Patil Galli in Begumpura. The incident came to light on Saturday afternoon.

He was declared brought dead at Government Medical College and Hospital on Saturday evening. The cause of death could not be ascertained yet. A case of accidental death was registered with Begumpura Police Station.

A 50-year-old man Girdhari Jawalaprasad Saraswat who hails from Bhavaninagar (Jalna) and consumed poison on March 12 died in GMCH while undergoing treatment on Sunday afternoon.

A case of accidental death was registered with Kadimnagar Police Station.

Similarly, a 32-year-old farmer Dadarao Punjaba Shirsath consumed poison at Jalgaon Ghat on Saturday night over crop failure. Relatives rushed him to the Government Hospital of the district where doctors declared him brought dead. A case of accidental death was registered police.

Hritik Santosh Sarangadhar, (18, Galle Borgaon, Khuldabad) ended his life by hanging himself at his house on Sunday morning. A case of an accidental case with Khuldabad Police Station.
