A’bad’s Excelize bags Delhi Metro project

Aurangabad, Feb 12: An Aurangabad-based firm Excelize dealing in Building Information Management (BIM) has been awarded a cloud-based integrated Project Monitoring Software (IPMS) contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The firm (as a part of a consortium) has won a bid to provide the nation’s leading metro, Delhi Metro, with an innovative software platform for the IPMS for all of DMRC’s upcoming civil, electrical, and system works for over a five-year period.

The consortium consists of Aurangabad-based Excelize Engineering Services Pvt Ltd as the Delivery Partner, Mansycom Consultants Pvt Ltd (Delhi) as the lead partner for overall management and implementation of the IPMS solution and Nadhi Information Technologies Pvt Ltd (Chennai) as the Technology Partner.

Excelize is a BIM firm founded by Pratap and Sonali Dhopte. Headquartered in Aurangabad, they are delivering Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions to clients in India, Mid-East, UK and US and have offices in Qatar, US and India.

Excelize founder and MD Pratap Dhopte is a computer engineer while co-founder Sonali Dhopte, who is born and brought up in Aurangabad, is an architect.

In the DMRC project, all the record keeping, construction time data, modeling, and design work will be done by Excelize through an integrated IPMS system.

The Mansycom-Nadhi-Excelize Consortium will execute the contract worth Rs 6.66 crore where COTS solution - ‘nPulse’ shall be used for developing and customizing the required functionalities for IPMS solution. The work commenced on November 12, 2020. The IPMS solution will go-live in March 2021 and then maintained by the Consortium till March 2026.
