Aurangabad, March 13:
The Ahmednagar police arrested the main conspirator Bal Bothe in Rekha Jare murder case today morning from Hyderabad. Bothe, alleged to have paid the contract money for killing of socio-political and founder chairperson of Yashaswi Mahila Brigade Rekha Jare. She was brutally killed by slitting her throat on the night of Nov 30. Five accused were arrested within two days of the crime. Bothe fled the city on December 2. His anticipatory bail against arrest was rejected both by the district court and later by Aurangabad bench of High Court.
The Parner court had issued a standing warrant of arrest and later had declared him a fugitive. The Parner court had given Bothe time till April 11 to appear before it. The police were all set to move application in the court to seize his properties after April 11.
