Member of National Commission for Scheduled Caste (NCSC) Subhash Pardhi said that it is painful that atrocities against Scheduled Caste (SC) members are increasing in the country.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Subhash Pardhi, who was here to attend a review meeting, said that a report about the atrocities on SC would be submitted to the Central Government.
District Collector Sunil Chavan, Superintendent of police Mokshada Patil, Zilla Parishad (ZP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Mangesh Gondavale and others were present at the briefing.
He said that he is taking a review of atrocities cases that took place in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, MP, Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan. Pardhi claimed that the highest number of cases are from Rajasthan.
He said that he held a meeting with the divisional commissioner, special inspector general of police, district collector, SP, commissioner of police, ZP CEO, administrator of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation, Social Welfare Department officers about Ujjwala Gas Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, recruitment on compassionate ground and atrocities cases.Open in app
