Auric should be included in the center's industrial schemes -Desai

Aurangabad, June 11:

The state government has done a lot of work in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It has already been demanded that industries should come to Auric City as per the new industrial policy of the center. "Our officials will again make a demand to the chief executive officer of the Niti Ayog, Amitabh Kant," said guardian minister Subhash Desai in a press conference here on Friday.

Follow up is being taken for setting up an electronic park, food park and most importantly, defense manufacturing hub in DMIC. A demand will again be made to speed up the project. He further said vaccination in Aurangabad district was satisfactory and needed to be expedited. From June 21, everyone will be vaccinated as per the new policy of the center. Initiatives need to be taken to prevent corona. The target of the district is to vaccinate 32.87 lakh citizens and more than 6 lakh citizens have been vaccinated. The administration is geared up for the third wave. In all, 300 ventilator beds are ready for children. Over 11 oxygen manufacturing projects will be set up and 4 of them have started. There were a number of complaints about exorbitant bills from private hospitals. Bills were examined by 57 auditors. Notices have been issued to 97 hospitals and extra bills worth Rs 65 lakh were recovered from hospitals. MLC Ambadas Danve, Narendra Trivedi, collector Sunil Chavan, additional commissioner B B Nemane, additional collector Anand Gavhane were present.

Aurangabad-Shirdi road work soon

Work on Aurangabad-Shirdi road will be handed over to Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The 88 km road will facilitate tourists and devotees. Work order for Aurangabad-Paithan road will be issued by October. Over 14 km road from Nagarnaka to Cambridge will be completed by December. Work on the Beed bypass will end on August 21. The road in Fardapur Ghat will be open till December, said Desai.
