Bamu professor Dr Navle passes away

Aurangabad, April 15:

Dr Sanjay Navle, a professor from Hindi Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, died of COVID on Thursday morning.

He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city for the past few days.

Dr Navle was 55 and leaves behind wife and a daughter.

A prominent writer in Hindi was hailing from Chorakhali (Kalamb, Osmanabad). He was in the field of teaching and research for the past 30 years and was living at Adarshnagar currently.

He wrote 19 books in Hindi, 14 in Marathi, over 100 research papers and edited 14 books. Dr Navle worked as Students Welfare Department director in Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University for some years.

He was a member of the Central Youth Festival Committee and director of Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre in BAMU. The last rites were performed on him at his native place today.
