Biogas project dedicated to people, Balasaheb Thackery’s sculpture inaugurated

Aurangabad, Jan 16:

The biogas project established by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at Kanchanwadi was dedicated to the people by guardian minister, Subhash Desai on Saturday. MLA Sanjay Shirsath, MLA Atul Save, AMC commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey, former MP Chandrakant Khaire and other officers were present. In this project, around 30 metric tons of garbage will be processed and methane gas will be produced. Later, Desai inaugurated the mural of Late Balasaheb Thackeray established by spending Rs 32 lakh at Amarpreet Chowk. MLC Satish Chavan and others were present.

Similarly, a bus stop was inaugurated at the Railway Station established under the Smart City Scheme. Moreover, foundation stone of the Smart City Bus-way was laid at the same time while the Smart Bus Control Cell was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon along with the inauguration of 50 digital information boards.

Speaking on the occasion, Desai said, the facilities for the residents have increased due to the garbage processing centre, clean city and Smart Bus Service in the city. He appealed the residents to use masks to make the district free from Corona. The passengers of the smart bus were welcomed by giving bouquets and releasing balloons in the air. MP Imtiyaz Jaleel was also present. Astik Kumar Pandey made an introductory speech.
