BJP to stage ‘Akrosh Andolan’ today

Aurangabad, June 2:

Leaders and activists of BJP will stage an agitation at Kranti Chowk, at 10 am on June 3, against the cancellation OBC reservation.

The Supreme Court cancelled OBC reservation in local self-governing bodies. BJP leaders feel that the OBC reservation cancelled because of the State Government’s lethargic attitude.

MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Atul Save, State unit general secretary OBC Morcha Bhagwan (Bapu) Ghadamode, city district president Sanjay Kenekar will lead the agitation to be staged at Kranti Chowk at 10 am on June 3.

MLA Save said that opposition leader in the Assembly Devendra Fadnavis sent a letter to the State Government five times.

He said that the Government remained inactive about the reservation. “There is no political reservation for OBC in the State. People are being misguided that OBC reservation will be given only after the census,” he added. BJP appealed to all the office-bearers to participate in the agitation.
