ngabad, Sept 26:
The construction of a magnificent industrial city on 10,000 acres under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is nearing completion. Of these, Shendra has become a five-star industrial zone. National and multinational companies have started work here. The ''Mission Begin Again'' has started after the lockdown. Considering the infrastructure here, some companies have shown interest in investment. This will increase employment. DMIC will bring more prosperity to the city. Youths from all over the country will flock to the city for employment. This will lead to a boom in real estate shortly.
To date, 10,000 acres of land has been acquired for DMIC in Shendra and Bidkin areas. This includes 8,000 acres in Bidkin area and 2,000 acres in Shendra area. In the first phase, internal roads, water, electricity, flyovers, underground cables, water lines have been constructed in Auric City. At the same time, infrastructure is being set up in the Bidkin industrial area by L&T Company. So far, 52 small and large companies have been started in the Shendra area. In all, Rs 6,500 crore has been spent on infrastructure here. The R B company is ready to invest Rs 500 crore here. Also, Russian company NLMK will invest Rs 5,800 crore in two phases. It will provide jobs for thousands of people. Multinational companies are coming to India from China. Efforts are underway at the government level to bring some of these companies to Aurangabad. Once the national and multinational companies start work here, the officials and workers will need houses. Many in the city are eager to buy a home near the company. Renowned builders in the city have started setting up housing projects in Shendra and Bidkin for them. It is getting a good response. This will also benefit the market. Corona caused havoc in densely populated areas of the city. Hence many people are now leaving their homes in the city and going to live in the housing projects at Jalna Road, Paithan Road, Shendra, Bidkin, Jalgaon Road. Due to DMIC, people from other districts and states are also coming to live in the city. They also want a home of their own. Demand from such people has also increased. People in Marathwada are buying their flats, row-houses in the city, thinking that children will get a better education in Aurangabad and jobs in the industrial estates here instead of Pune and Mumbai. This will lead to a boom in real estate shortly. The Shendra-Bidkin DMIC road has received a green signal. The Shendra-Nipani Valmi-Bidkin road was proposed by the union ministry of transport and was recently approved by the state industries department. This will be of great benefit to the construction industry here as well as to the industrial sector.
