Civic teachers to donate Rs 5,000 each to Coronavirus-infected students

Aurangabad, May 17:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) school teachers credit co-operative society today has unanimously approved the proposal granting a monetary relief of Rs 5,000 each to poor students, studying in different civic schools, if they get Coronavirus infected in the forthcoming third wave.

The school headmaster has to verify and recommend the case. Accordingly, the society will issue a cheque of Rs 5,000 in the name of the parents of the student. The aid will help the family members to undertake immediate treatment for their ward.

The meeting held today in presence of society's president Baby Malode was attended by vice president Zubair Shaikh, secretary Sampat Idhate, education officer and director Ramnath Thore, cultural officer and director Sanjeev Sonar, directors Kamini Surangalikar, Archana Joshi, Bharat Tingote, Tushar Tathe, Ram Sawant, Sadar Khan Tadvi, Prakash Thore, Sunil Narwade, manager Shivaji Nikam and Jeevan Kale.
