Colleges asked to stop salary of teaching, non-teaching staff over non-submission of CVC

>Aurangabad, Sept 26:
Aurangabad, Sept 26: Granted colleges will stop salary of those teaching and non-teaching staffers who will not submit caste validity certificate (CVC) within the given deadline.
It may be noted there are more than 120 fully, partially granted colleges within the jurisdiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU). Hundreds of teachers took job from the reserved category. However, the majority of them have not submitted caste validity even after completing service for many years. As per the Government norms, it is mandatory to submit CVC within the given time.
Some teachers unions raised the objection over non-submission of the certificate and availing of caste benefit for the job.
Following which, the university issued a letter to all colleges asking them to submit a copy of CVC with deputy registrar of reservation cell of the university on or before September 30 or else, the colleges should stop salary of these staff and submit its report to BAMU. The staff members who have not obtained CVC yet may land in trouble.
