Aurangabad, Oct 14:

The medical education minister Amit Deshmukh has urged the Aurangabad District Congress Committee office-bearers to gear up to excel in the forthcoming Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) elections as soon as possible. He advised them during the meeting held with them on Tuesday evening.

Deshmukh, who is also the contact minister of the district, arrived in the city on Tuesday evening. Till late in the night, he held a discussion on various issues with the party''s office-bearers in a hotel, situated on Jalna Road. The meeting also discussed the possible election of AMC. Later on, he heard the issues and views of the office-bearers present on occasion, said the Congress activists.
