Aurangabad, Feb 27:

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Kaushal Kendra (DDUKK) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), during the COVID-19 pandemic period, has developed an ultra low cost automated hand sanitiser dispenser, automated sanitisation booth, UV disinfection chambers, foot-operated door openers.

The department has also come up with proof of concept of an electro-pneumatic ventilator assembly supportive to ASRS patients.

“We are conducting joint research with the research and development division of NRB Bearings on the development of innovative fixtures and electronics in bearing design and assembly to enhance their efficiency, lifetime and automated preventive maintenance. The team has come up with several encouraging outcomes and putting every endeavour to make this industry-academia interface a true success to bring technology at the forefront, breaking all barriers,” he added.

Dr Prasanta Ghosh (School of Physics, MIT Peace University, Pune) and Dr Kunal Datta are contributing to the research.
