Decision on new AY beginning likely to be taken in acdemic council meeting

Aurangabad, Oct 27:

The decision about starting the new academic year of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University is likely to be taken in academic council (AC) meeting to be held on October 29.

It may be noted that the new academic calendar was disturbed with the spread of Novel coronavirus. The AC meeting chaired by vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole was held online last time. There is a demand from some Council members to organise it online on the line of other meetings.

The decision to change names of some courses as per the new nomenclature issued by University Grants Commission will be tabled for approval.

The name of Master of International Business will be changed as an MBA in International Business. Discussions on fixing fee of B A-Dance, MCJ, Diploma in TV Production courses will be done.

The decision about appointed 18 teachers on a clock-hour basis is likely to be taken as teaching staff posts are vacant in many departments.
