Dog beaten to death in city, case filed

In another horrific act of animal cruelty, a recently surfaced video shows a dog was beaten to death and was stabbed on the head with a stick even after death. The video has emerged after a week from the incident. The suspect beating the dog and other recording the video are seen enjoying the act.

A few months ago, a dog was tied and dragged behind a bike in the city. Now another horrific video has gone viral on social media platforms. According to details, a lawyer living in Satara area had a dog for the last three years. A boy named Pawar (full name not known) comes to deliver milk to the lawyer''s house. The boy was well acquainted with the dog. However, the dog suddenly disappeared from the house last week.

Lawyer searched for him, but he was not found. Meanwhile, Pawar sent the video to the lawyer in which Pawar''s cousin Ravi Kamble was brutally beating the dog with a stick. The lawyer was stunned to see the video. He asked Pawar for an answer. Pawar replied that the dog followed us to our house and started eating our chickens. So we killed him. However, out of fear of social organizations, the lawyer kept quiet.

Video surfaced after a week

On Tuesday, Beryl Sanchis of Aurangabad Pet Lovers Association received the video. He immediately posted the video to all the members and while investigating the matter, he came to know about the whereabouts of the suspects who were beating the dog. The members of the association, along with the police, reached the suspect''s house along with corporator Sanjay Shirsath and Sheikh Shahid of the municipal corporation. The boy and his family rudely justified the killing of the dog. A case was registered against Pawar and Ravi Kamble at the police station on Wednesday.

Horrific act of animal cruelty

In this video, Kamble is seen hitting the dog on the head with a stick, and the dog''s eyes are sticking out of the skull. Ravi keeps beating the dog and drags him around after his death. The place where the dog was killed is 4 km away from the lawyer''s house. Dogs of 3 years cannot go so far alone. Members from pet lovers have claimed that the suspects may have taken the dog.
