Domestic gas cylinder price to soon touch eight hundred rupees

Once again, domestic gas cylinder prices have skyrocketed. As the price of a cylinder has gone up by Rs 50, consumers have to pay Rs 778 making a hole in the common man's pocket.

In just 11 days, the price of a domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs 50. The cylinder, which sold for Rs 728 on February 4, has been selling for Rs 778 since February 15. The rise in gas cylinder prices had started from December. On December 15, the price of cylinder had increased by Rs 100 and was sold at Rs 703 from Rs 603. On February 4, the price of a cylinder was increased by Rs 25 and was sold at Rs 728. Now the price of a cylinder will soon reach Rs 800.

Power petrol crosses Rs 100

The price of power petrol (leaded) has crossed the Rs 100 mark. On Wednesday, power petrol was selling at Rs 100.60 per liter. Unleaded petrol was selling at Rs 97.13. Diesel was also selling at Rs 88.13 per liter.
