Dr Bhagwat Karad determines to carry out district’s development

Aurangabad, July 7:

“I always felt that whether I made a mistake by joining politics and quitting medical practice. But, today, I got reward for all my hard work and efforts on getting an opportunity to work in PM Modi’s Cabinet,” said Dr Bhagwat Karad after taking an oath as Minister of State in union Cabinet on Wednesday.

He said that he carry out development works for the district whatever portfolio he gets.

“I would try to do something different for the district. I am happy that the district got representation in the union Cabinet,” he said

Dr Karad said he would work with all his capacity for Marathwada and Maharashtra. He also expressed gratitude to the party for his induction in the union Cabinet.

Dr Anjali Karad, his wife, said that Minister Dr Karad quit the medical practice and joined politics. “As a wife, I had to pay a lot of time for family and our hospital. I am happy today on receiving a reward for all sacrifices,” she added.
