Aurangabad, May 11:

The security personnel at the office of the police commissioner have arrested two drunkards, who under the influence of liquor, reached the office to meet the commissioner of police (CP) at 1.30 am (midnight of May 10) on Monday.

Police said, Pawan Laxmanrao Vaishnav ( Kumbhar Pimpalgaon in district Jalna) and Praful Ashok Mote (23, J Sector, Mukundwadi) reached the commissionerate at 1.30 am on Monday. The security personnel on duty stopped them from entering the campus. They claimed they had come to meet the CP. Surprisingly, they insisted the security call him as they wanted to narrate their grievances. The police guards told them to come the next morning and meet the CP in the office. They tried to create a scene and chaos. They were in no mood to leave the campus. As a result, the security personnel contacted the Begumpura police team patrolling in the night and sent them for medical examination. They were refusing to sit in the police vehicle. Later on, the cops forcibly pushed and took them to GMCH. The doctors confirmed that the duo has consumed alcohol.

Meanwhile, head constable, Vilas Thorat, on behalf of the government has lodged a complaint against Pawan and Praful at Begumpura police station. The case has been registered against them. Further investigation is on.
