Garude appointed in Export Inspection Council of India

Aurangabad, March 23: Assistant professor, MIT College of Food Technology, Hanuman Garude has been appointed Technical Officer in Export Inspection Council of India (EIC). The EIC is the official export certification body of India under the ministry of commerce and industry which ensures quality and safety of products exported from India. It exercises its function through five export inspection agencies (EIAs). Garude was selected through a national-level examination conducted by the EIC and will soon join EIA, Kolkata (HO). He has obtained a B Tech degree in Food Technology from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Masters in Food Engineering and Technology from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur, Punjab, said principal Dr Ashok Rodge.
