Give financial package to priests

Aurangabad, April 8:

Temples are closed again under 'Break the Chain'. The Aurangabad Jilha Gurav Samaj Mandal, Mahila Mandal and Yuvak Mandal have sent a letter to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday demanding that the government should provide a financial package to all priests.

The letter stated that once again there has been an outbreak of coronavirus in the state. Employment, business, are on the verge of closure due to restrictions. Like last year, the economic situation is deteriorating. The priests and helpers are in trouble because of the closure of places of temples. Even last year, no financial package was given to the priests. Hence now the government should provide a financial package to all priests. Ramnath Kapase, Rohini Shewale, Dr Jayshree Kale, Mangal Kale, Kanta Bachate and others have signed the letter.
