GMCH gears up to increase patients capacity

Aurangabad, March 27:

The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) superintendent Dr Suresh Harbade today confirmed that the hospital's present capacity is 600 cots. However, the GMCH has geared up to increase the capacity up to 858 cots, and it will be done soon. This will automatically increase the patients capacity in the hospital. Moreover, the hospital has also appointed staff on a contractual basis to serve the Covid-19 patients while undergoing treatment.

Sachkhand Express running late today

The SCR (Nanded Division) has informed that the Nanded-Amritsar Sackhnad Express train (bearing number 02715) will depart late by 150 minutes on March 28. Instead of 9.30 am, the train will leave Nanded station at 12 noon. The delay in train departure on Sunday is because the returning train - Amritsar to Nanded - is reaching late by 12 hours, stated the release.

City temperature touches 38-degree celsius

The city's temperature recorded today was 38.2-degree celsius. This is said to be the highest temperature of this summer season. MSEDCL registers two power theft cases

The MSEDCL officials today have caught red-handed two consumers while stealing power and filed cases against them at Cidco police station. The cases were filed against Malik Zubair Jasimoddin (resident of Pundaliknagar, Hanuman Chowk) and Damodhar Wamanrao Pawar (resident of Jaibhavaninagar). The assistant engineer of the flying squad Pappu Gore lodged the complaints.
