Guardian minister reviews ZP development works

Aurangabad, June 29:

With the Zilla Parishad (ZP) elections likely to be held next year, the public representatives have started focusing on the development work coming under their jurisdiction. For the first time in 18 months, guardian minister Subhash Desai held a separate meeting to review various development works of the ZP.

ZP chief executive officer Dr Mangesh Gondawale informed the guardian minister about the development works through computer presentation. The minister took review of the development works including primary health centers, rural hospitals, oxygen plants, oxygen production capacity and vaccination in rural areas. He informed that projects must be implemented in a timely and planned manner including education, water supply, road construction, repair of Nizam-era schools and innovation schemes. Desai also instructed that the health administration should act as a role model for health facilities, and while working as a role model, it should immediately submit the necessary proposals for providing facilities in rural areas.
