Industrial associations helped a lot in fight against covid - Desai

Aurangabad, July 18:

Industrial associations in Aurangabad have helped a lot in the fight against covid through CSR and other various ways and now this public awareness campaign will definitely help create positivity about vaccination and awareness of covid appropriate behaviour (CAB) among the citizens, said guardian minister Subhash Desai. He was speaking at the conclusion ceremony of the five day awareness campaign launched jointly by the industrial associations, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation and district administration to create awareness about Covid-19 vaccination and CAB.

Industrial organisations including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA), Aurangabad First and Zilla Vyapari Mahasangh participated in this campaign. Desai further said, Aurangabad has shown a very good cohesive model as all industrial associations worked together with government agencies and contributed immensely in this tough situation of pandemic. This cohesive model will certainly inspire others to work. AMC medical officer Dr Nita Padalkar said that industry has always supported us during this difficult times and helped us through various important and useful medical equipment which strengthened our support system to save many patients. CII Marathwada zonal chairman Raman Ajgaonkar, vice chairman Prasad Kokil, CII Maharashtra's vice chairman Shriram Narayanan, C P Tripathi, Massia vice presidents Kiran Jagtap, Anil Patil, secretary Gajanan Deshmukh, Aurangabad First president Pritish Chatterjee, Sardar Hari Singh and Gulam Hakkani were present.
