Industrial associations launch campaign to create awareness for vaccination

Aurangabad, July 13:

On behalf of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and district administration, awareness campaign on Covid Appropriated Behaviour (CAB) and Covid vaccination is being conducted from July 12 to 16 with the support of industries and business associations in Aurangabad. Members from the industrial associations and officials inaugurated the campaign at the Kranti Chowk monument flag on Tuesday.

Industry associations including Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Aurangabad First and Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) participated in the campaign. The rally visited the peer bazar ward, Railway Station, Chittegaon and Bidkiin MIDC and interacted with the residents there to create awareness for getting vaccinated. Masks were distributed to the residents explaining the importance of wearing a mask. An appeal has been made to the residents to get themselves vaccinated. Secretary Satish Lonikar said that this public awareness campaign will definitely help in creating awareness and positivity about vaccination not only amongst the citizens, but also to the industrial fraternity. During this rally the Grind Master Machines, RL Steels and Energy, Som Autotech, OMR Bagla and Frigorifico Allana were honored by giving special certificates for maximum vaccination in their industries. CMIA president Shivprasad Jaju, vice-president, Nitin Gupta, Kamleish Dhoot, CII state vice chairman, N Shriram, CII Marathwada zonal chairman Raman Ajgaonkar, municipal medical officer Dr Paras Mandalecha along with the other officials were present.
