Industrialist duped of Rs 60K

Aurangabad, June 10:

A small-scale industrialist from the Waluj MIDC area was duped of Rs 60,000 in a transaction of raw material. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station in this regard.

Dinesh Kachrudas Kapkar (45, Nandanvan Colony, Aurangabad) runs a company at Waluj MIDC area where plastic products are manufactured. Kapkar contacted his acquaints Anil Patil and Aaba Patil on May 24, for the raw material in the company. They gave the number of Prashant Tate from Jalgaon, who provides raw material. Kapkar contacted Tate, and a deal of two tons raw material was fixed for Rs 80,000 between them. Kapkar paid Rs 8,000 as advance on May 8 and later Rs 52,000 through the ATM account of his friend Manoj.

After paying Rs 60,000, Kapkar contacted Tate, but he started neglecting him and did not send the raw material. When he realized that he had been taken for a ride, Kapkar lodged a complaint at Cyber police station. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station against Prashant Tate alias Rajendra Chaudhary.
