International webinar on ‘Recent Trends in Applied Microbiology ’held

Aurangabad, April 3:

‘Microbiology Department of Deogiri College and Microbiology Society of India (MSI) jointly organised a one-day international webinar on ‘Recent Trends in Applied Microbiology.

Dr Shailesh Dave from Gujarat University, Dr Tanzima Yasmin, Dr Anjanan Singh from Nepal and Dr Elham Jafar Jadeh from Ahvaz (Iran) guided the participants on topics including ‘potential of marine bacteria and their product, role of bioferetilisers in agriculture technology.

Microbiology Department head of Deogiri College Dr Pushpalata Jadahv made an introductory remark.

Vice-principal Dr C S Patil delivered a welcome speech.'President of MSI Dr A M Deshmukh, also spoke. Dr Sanjay Ubale conducted the proceedings of the programme.

Dr Deepti Dhere, Kavisha Patidar, Priyanka Giri and Kalindi Kelwad worked for the webinar's success.
