Lions Club of Aurangabad Icon distributes oxygen concentrator

Aurangabad, July 6:

During the second wave of Covid-19, the Lions Club of Aurangabad Icon extended a helping hand and has so far provided 24 oxygen concentrators to government hospitals and social organisations. Seven concentrators have been given to the Government Medical College and Hospital, two to cantonment general hospital, five to district civil hospital Chikalthana and two to ambulance help riders group and to other social service organisations.

With this initiative of PMCC Lions Sandeep Malu and Amit Kulkarni, Icon club president Jaideep Ghuge implemented the project effectively and hoped that it would benefit hundreds of patients if needed in the future. The social service of the club is being appreciated at all levels. Ajay Rajput contributed Rs 16 lakhs for the equipment. International director Naval Malu, region chairperson Rajesh Jadhav, zone chairperson Maruti Phulare and Sonu Karnani were present.
