Man dies in accident at Sillod

Aurangabad, Feb 4:

A man gone out for a morning walk died after a dash by an unidentified vehicle on Sillod – Bhokardan Road near Ekta Petrol Pump at Sillod on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Shamrao Popalghat (40).

Popalghat, a resident of Bapunagar, Sillod had gone for a morning walk on Sillod – Bhokardan Road on Thursday morning when an unidentified vehicle dashed him. He died on the spot. PI Rajendra Bokade and others rushed to the spot on receiving the information. And took Popalghat to the sub-district hospital where the doctors declared him dead after examination. He is survived by wife, three daughters, son, mother and three brothers. A case has been registered at the Sillod police station.
