Man duped of Rs 93K using his credit card

Aurangabad, June 16:

A man was duped of Rs 93,525 by withdrawing the amount directly from his account through his credit card. Notably, he did not receive any call asking for OTP, but the amount was withdrawn. The incident occurred at Sangharshnagar, Mukundwadi, on May 11, while a case has been registered at the Mukundwadi police station in this regard. Police said complainant Anup Bavan Kshotriya (Sangharshnagar) works in a private company. On May 11, he received a message on his mobile phone at around 5 pm that Rs 93,525 has been withdrawn through IndusInd Bank credit card. Later, he received a statement of this transaction from the bank on June 8. He had not received any call from any fraudster asking for OTP, still, the amount was withdrawn from his account. PI Sudhakar Bavkar is further investigating the case.
