Man injured in accident dies

Aurangabad, Feb 10:

A man injured after a speeding car dashed his motorcycle died while undergoing treatment. The accident occurred in front of Rama Hotel on Jalna Road on Tuesday at around 11.30 pm. The deceased Deepak Tarachand Hatwal (36, Gandhinagar) was a supervisor in the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) cleaning department, his relatives said.

Deepak used to assign the cleaning works to the works every night. On Tuesday night, he was going as usual from Seven Hills towards Cidco Bus Stand when a speeding car dashed his Bullet motorcycle. He sustained severe head and leg injuries. The witnesses immediately informed about the accident to the Cidco police. He was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in unconscious condition where he died at around 2.30 am. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Cidco police station. PI Ashok Giri informed that the car has been seized.
