Mantralay Aaplya Dari initiative to be launched on Feb 12

Aurangabad, Feb 5:

Higher and technical education minister Uday Samant and senior officials of the ministry will launch 'Mantralay Aaplya Dari' initiative in Aurangabad on February 12. The initiative will be held to resolve the problems of students, parents, professors, teaching staff and educational institutions on the spot.

Giving more information, vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) Dr Pramod Yeole in a press conference said that on February 12, the minister of higher education and all senior officials of the department of higher and technical education would be present to solve the problems and difficulties of the concerned at university Natyagruha. For this, BAMU has created a special portal 'Ministry of Higher and Technical Education @ Aurangabad' on the university website's main page for the convenience of all concerned. Students and citizens will be able to submit their questions in English or Unicode Marathi on this portal. Arrangements have also been made to attach a soft copy of the statement. Those who will not be able to submit a statement online will also be able to submit a statement to the minister in person. Pro-VC Shyam Shirsath, Joint director of higher education Digambar Gaikwad, Registrar Dr Jayashree Suryavanshi were present.

Questions to be presented by the university

- Allow filling vacancies in various departments of the university.

- The government approved the posts of 28 professors recruited from the university fund in 2016. But their salary has not started by the government. At present, the university has to bear the burden of the salaries of these professors.

- 450 temporary employees working in the university should be accommodated in the service.

- Funds should be approved for the Adhyasan Bhavan.

- Funds should be provided for setting up two hostels in the university.
