Aurangabad, March 26:

The Corona crisis is on the rise once again in the district. The district administration has issued order not to organise any marriage and other ceremonies in the city and district till April 4 to avert the gathering of people. However, a marriage ceremony was organised at a mangal karyalaya in the city. The Cidco MIDC police raided the Golden Lawns in Naregaon area and registered cases against the bride, bridegroom and the concerned organisers on Friday morning.

The accused have been identified as Fahim Shaikh Salim, Jaffar Khan Gaffar Khan, owner Feroz Khan Mohammad Khan, bridegroom Imran Ansar Pathan, bride Shahenaz Shaikh Harun, father of the bride Shaikh Harun Shaikh Bashir and father of the groom Ansar Pathan (Jalna).

Considering the increasing Corona crisis, the municipal commissioner, police commissioner and district collector have jointly issued prohibitory orders in the city and the district. The marriage and other ceremonies have been banned. Still, a marriage ceremony was organised at a lawn at Naregaon.

Under the guidance of PI, Vitthal Pote, the police team including PSI Sanjay Mate and others raided the lawns at around 10 am. The marriage ceremony was over till then and the arrangement for lunch was being done for the people present for the ceremony. The concerned people were taken into custody. A case was registered against them based on the complaint lodged by constable Kishor Chaganlal Madurse. Later, all over released after serving notices.
