Medical aspirants confused over fake viral circular about exams

Aurangabad, April 13:

A fake circular about the winter sessions examinations to be conducted by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has gone viral on social media, giving wrong information to students and teachers of health science colleges across the State.

The university will conduct the first to third year of UG courses and the first and second year of PG courses between April 19 and May 12.

Aspirants of the first MBBS (new supplementary) will take their examinations between May 3 and 15.

A fake circular has gone viral on social about giving wrong examinations of winter sessions.

On receiving information, the MUHS clarified that the viral circular is fake and is creating confusion among stake holders in COVID 19 situation.

Controller of examination of MUHS Dr Ajit Pathak, in a circular issued on Tuesday, stated that proper action would be taken against those who would spread such type of rumours.

“No one should believe in such rumours and visit the university website to get correct information about the examination,” he said.

Dr Pathak appealed to all deans and principals of the health science colleges to take note of it.
