Aurangabad, April 14:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) has released the syllabus of online MHT-CET 21 to be conducted for the admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture undergraduate courses across the State.

The State level test is likely to be held after July since the HSC examinations were postponed because of COVID 19 spread. The CET was divided into the three sections-Mathematics; Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

Each of the three sections is of 90 minutes. A total of 80 per cent weightage will be given to the Class XII syllabus, while 20 pc of the weightage will be given to the Class XI curriculum. There will be 100 marks for each section.

There will be no negative marking but, the difficulty level will be on par with JEE-Main.

Questions will be based on the whole syllabus of HSC of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, excluding the portion deleted by Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production and Curriculum Research because of COVID.

There will be multiple-choice questions in the question papers. The registration process is likely to begin this month. It appears that the CET will be delayed this year, also considering the current COVID situation in the State.
