MUHS postpones different health sci courses exams

Aurangabad, April 15:

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) on Thursday postponed various health science courses examinations until June 1.

It may be noted that the university was to conduct winter 2020 session (phase III) examinations of first, second and third-year undergraduate courses in affiliated colleges and UG and postgraduate courses in university departments from April 19. Now, the students of the courses will take their papers from June 2

The number of COVID patients and their mortality has increased across the State during the last few weeks. Many students have gone to their native place from the hostels because of strict lockdown across the State.

The university announced postponing the examinations of the different courses.

The examinations of first-year MBBS (batch 2019, supplementary) winter 2020 sessions were planned for this month-end. However, the examinations schedule was revised. The aspirants will take their paper between June 2 and 12 as per the revised schedule.

The MUHS will hold the Modern Midlevel Service Provider certificate course examinations between June 2 and 4.

In a circular issued on Thursday, Registrar Ajit Pathak stated the examinations were rescheduled for administrative purpose. He said that the revised schedule was made as per the instructions of the Government.

Pathak appealed to all college principals, deans, teachers and students to take note of examination postponing and visit MUHS university for any doubt.
