“Students used to get an education with dedication in Gurukul system earlier. The New Education Policy (NEP) is a milestone during the last 34 years. “Students from rural areas are facing many problems due to insufficient technological resources. This will result in a disparity in society,” he lamented.

He said that there is special policy to provide quality education to poor students at a time when there is privatisation on a high level in the education field,” he added.

Dr Rajesh Karpe, Dr Satish Badve, joint director of Technical Education Dr Mahesh Shivankar, former VC Dr B A Chopde were present.
