New Aadhar Janseva Foundation inaugurated with felicitation of Covid warriors

Aurangabad, Feb 8: The NGO New Aadhar Janseva Foundation was inaugurated here at Tapadiya Natyagruha, Nirala Bazar, recently.

Chief guest and MP Bhagwat Karad, guests of honour MLA Atul Save and MLC Ambadas Danve inaugurated the Trust by unveiling its logo followed a motivational song “Itni Shakti De Na Data” rendered by Anagha Kale.

Five eminent personalities who devoted time and service towards the society during Covid-19 pandemic were felicitated. They included Dr Praveen Suryavanshi, director of MGM Group, Pritish Chatterjee, president, Aurangabad First Group and Aurangabad Bengali Association, Dr Anant Pandhare, medical director, Dr Hedgewar Rugnalaya, Sandeep Nagori, former president of Massia and former chairman of CII, Aurangabad and Dr Sundar Kulkarni, civil surgeon. NGO secretary Prabirkumar Ghosh introduced these personalities. Fourteen enthusiastic citizens have come together to form the NGO for doing multipurpose social work

NGO president N K Chakraborty said the main objects of the NGO include building a Happy Home accommodating 300 senior citizens on its tagline of Khushiyon Ka Ghar. Working president CS Laxmikant Jaipurkar said the NGO will extend economic and other help to the deserving poor students. It will also organise basic health check-ups for the needy, hold blood donation camps and create a food bank from the collection of excess hotel/domestic food for feeding hungry.

MLA Save urged the trustees to concentrate on limited projects and make them successful. MLC Danve lauded the initiatives of the NGO.

MP Karad asked the NGO to contact various corporate houses for using the CSR fund for projects. Saddam anchored the programme. Secretary Ghosh proposed a vote of thanks.

Vice-president Mohua Chakraborty, treasurer Mahesh Jain, Sandeep Kale, joint secretary Shashikant Patel and others were present.
