No change in UG exams during lockdown

Aurangabad, March 30:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) on Tuesday announced that it would conduct all the undergraduate course papers during the full lockdown as per the schedule.

It may be noted that the first sessions of UG courses online and offline examinations for the academic year 2020-21 began in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts from March 16. The examinations were delayed by six months because of COVID spread.

Meanwhile, the district administration announced a full lockdown between March 31 and 9 to contain the spread of COVID. So, students and parents were confused over this.

The candidates will take their papers on March 31 and April 1, from April 5 to 9.

But, there will be holidays between April 2 and 4. Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil said that the examinations would be held as per the given schedule.

He made it clear there is no change in the schedule even if there is a lockdown.

“All students and teachers should follow COVID measures strictly. The colleges should encourage students for the online examinations considering the current situation,” he added.
