In this, both self interest and selflessness are achieved. Self interest means that by donating blood, new blood is produced in your body within 24 hours. Every three months you find out your BP, sugar level, HB and weight. If you continue to donate blood, your body will stay healthy, but the point is that giving blood once will save the lives of three people. Donate blood so that you can feel the joy of giving life to someone else, he said.
