Patients, relatives to gets hospital beds information on Bamu portal soon

Aurangabad, April 28:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will soon provide hospital bed updates for COVID patients and relatives. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole said that the university has maintained its social commitments in all situation, including COVID 19.

He said that the university launched two pandemic swab sample testing laboratories in the city and Osmanabad sub-center campuses last year when there was the first wave.

The university also started a postgraduate diploma course in Virology to provide skilled manpower health sector.

The university staff has made available technical support for the update of beds.

Bamu will upload the information of beds from ‘MHMH’ App of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on its portal.

Its website has thousands of visitors daily. The initiative will help patients and their relatives search COVID Care Centre and the availability of beds in rural and city areas.
