Ph D 2nd phase registration after declaring vacant seats only

Aurangabad, April 3:

Deputy registrar of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Ganesh Manza said that the university had not started registration for the second phase of Ph D admission yet.

He said that the registration process would commence only after declaring vacant seats with research guides.

Bamu conducted two papers of Ph D Entrance Test (PET) for admissions to Ph D in 45 subjects. The result was declared on March 17.

The university administration was to cancel the research guide of teachers of colleges that do not have a research centre. The teaching community was upset over the decision. So, a committee was set up to take a final decision on it.

The panel submitted its report to the administration. The members of the Management Council accepted the report in their meeting held last week. BAMU started collecting data on vacant seats for Ph D admissions.
