Police bust racket of providing answers in health department examination

Aurangabad, Feb 28:

The Chikalthana police raided a study centre at Khokadpura and busted a racket of providing answers to the candidates during the health department examination. The police arrested two persons from the study centre and two candidates from an examination centre at Gevrai Tanda. The police action was executed at around 11 am on Sunday. The police arrested four persons and seized a laptop, printer, mobile phone and the question papers from the study centre.

The examination to fill the vacant positions in the public health department was held across the state in two sessions between 10 am and 12 pm and 3 pm and 5 pm. The precaution was taken to maintain complete confidentiality about the exam, but the paper was leaked. Chikalthana police received the information that a duplicate candidate is giving paper for a candidate registered for the examination at Dhaneshwari Agriculture College at Gevrai Tanda. Before the examination, the police laid a trap at the examination centre and arrested Madan Dharamsingh Bahure (24, Jodwadi) at the entrance and found a headphone device with him. During the inquiry, he told the name of another person who was going to tell him answers to the questions on the headphone device. The police immediately arrested him and seized a device that he would use to get answers from the study centre at Khokadpura.

He told the police that the information will be provided to him from Gajanan Study Centre, first floor, MMC Market at Khokadpura. The police went to the centre and found the centre was locked from outside. The police broke the door and entered in the centre. There were persons in the centre but five of them jumped from the window and fled away. They were severely injured as they jumped from the window and there were iron bars there. The nearby residents said that they asked them why they are running. They told them that they had quarreled with some and hence they are running. The people ignored them as there were frequent quarrels in the study centre.
